Spell Bind

Spell Bind is a VR game developed as an assignment under the 3D Game programming module at Kingston University. It’s an Oculus Quest-based game, utilizing the benefits of the Hand Tracking feature offered by the hardware. On top of it, the game also uses the Oculus Voice SDK to record the player’s voice as input. 

The gameplay of Spell Bind is Harry Potter-themed, where players interact using a wand and cast spells to attack the enemies. The main objectives of the game are as follows: -

  -  Players learn how to use a spell 

 - They cast these spells to control objects -

 - Players use the spells to attack/defend against the enemies 

 - The main aim for the players is to clear all the enemies and progress to the next level
